New site, Hoo dis?
I was laid off.
Sad, to be sure, but what an opportunity. I am lucky enough to have the priviledge to spend a moment, breathe, and reassess. It came at a good time professionally. I had spent my last four years in the Customer Success space, and while I have learned a lot through those roles, it's not my love language. (Well, to be completely honest, cheese is my love language, but we'll save that discussion for a different blog.)
Learning is and always has been what gives me joy. My own learning, helping others learn, seeing the love of learning develop and thrive in others. From a professional perspective, this takes me straight to Talent Development. It's sort of the sweet spot between learning and putting those newly learned skills or abilities to use at work.
So, I am taking this opportunity (which I am calling "my sabbatical") to focus on reskilling and upskilling myself in the talent development space.
And thus was born, The Owl Project - Onward With Learning. Enjoy.
